Camille: There is something horribly efficient about you.
Bond: Is that a compliment?
Name: Camille Montes
Appearances: Quantum of Solace
Portrayed By: Olga Kurylenko

Background
Camille Montes was raised in Bolivia. At a young age, her family was murdered by Medrano, a then military General. Following the murder, Medrano burns down Camille’s house with her still inside. She wears burn scars on her back as a result. She later grows up to be part of the Bolivian Secret Service, and she waits for the day when she can get revenge on General Medrano for the pain he caused her.
Camille is the primary Bond girl in Quantum of Solace.
Relationship With Bond
Bond encounters Camille because she has infiltrated Dominic Greene’s operation. Now acting as Greene’s girlfriend, Camille is using him to get to General Medrano, who is working with Greene. Greene helped him get power in Bolivia in order to threaten him into signing a contract that makes Bolivia’s sole water company Greene’s.
Using information obtained from the traitorous MI6 agent Mitchell’s home, Bond travels to Haiti to meet with Mitchell’s contact Slate. Upon killing Slate, Bond takes his identity and a briefcase signalling that Slate has been hired by Greene to assassinate Camille. In a meeting with Camille, she learns this and tries to shoot Bond, who she assumes is Slate. Bond gives chase to Camille’s car to the King Quay docks, where Camille confronts Greene about the hit.
Bond watches this interaction from a distance. Later, General Medrano and Greene make a deal that would give Medrano political power in Bolivia in exchange for a seemingly worthless expanse of desert in the country. Greene adds Camille to the deal after Medrano explains how he murdered her family because her father Ernesto was a political enemy.
Medrano takes Camille away on a boat, and Bond rescues her by causing a boat crash. He whisks her away from the chaos that ensues right as she is about to execute Medrano.
Later, Bond removes Camille from a party celebrating Greene’s new business venture, the Tierra Project. On their way out, their car is pulled over by two police officers who are working for Greene. They have Bond open the trunk, where they find a severely beaten Rene Mathis. Bond pulls his ally out of the trunk, and Mathis is promptly shot by the police, who are attempting to shoot Bond. Bond quickly dispatches with the two police officers, but Mathis is killed. Bond is framed by the police for his death.
Bond and Camille rent a plane to investigate the desert space that Greene now owns. During this, Bond and Camille discuss her relationship with Greene and the Bolivian Secret Service.
The plane is attacked by Greene’s men in the air. Bond and Camille parachute out of the heavily-damaged vehicle.
Camille and Bond later infiltrate Greene’s hideout in the desert, where Medrano is meeting with him.
The pair shoot through the building. Camille finds Medrano in the process of forcing himself on a servant of Greene’s. As Camille clashes with Medrano and Bond clashes with Greene, the building begins exploding.
Camille kills Medrano by shooting him, but is trapped in the room by fire. Her fear of fire, given her childhood tragedy, freezes her in the corner of the room. Bond finds her and helps her escape.
Trivia
Camille is the only primary Bond girl in the franchise that James Bond does not sleep with.
