Be sure to check out the slides as they will provide you with solid information about your fantasy hockey options for Saturday, Jan. 2. There are 12 games today, meaning that 24 teams are in action. That gives you limited options. The first game starts at 1:00 PM EST. Make sure your lineup is set by then!
There are some lopsided matchups today that should be good to take advantage of in fantasy hockey. The Detroit Red Wings take on the Buffalo Sabres at 1:00 PM EST. The Sabres are struggled defensively this year, making it a good matchup for the Red Wings. The Philadelphia Flyers take on the Los Angeles Kings today at 4:00 PM EST in LA. The Kings have won four straight and their offense has finally started scoring goals.
The Florida Panthers take on the New York Rangers at home at 7:00 PM EST. The Panthers have won seven straight games while the Rangers have been struggling as of late. Even in their recent win over the Tampa Bay Lightning, the same problems that caused their sub-par play were evident. The Dallas Stars travel to the New Jersey to take on the Devils at 7:00 PM EST.
The Stars are a hot team right now with the best record in the NHL. The Nashville Predators take on the Carolina Hurricanes in Carolina at 7:00 PM EST. Finally, the Washington Capitals look to keep their impressive streak of not losing consecutive games alive when they travel to take on the Columbus Blue Jackets at 7:00 PM EST.
All fantasy hockey points per game averages and salaries are as listed on FanDuel. Please remember that FanDuel is blocked in the following states: Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana, Nevada, New York, and Washington.
