Nick Saban is easily one of the best college football coaches of all-time and here are five reasons that he should go to the NFL if Alabama beats Clemson.

The Alabama Crimson Tide continue to display their dominance in the college football world, annihilating the Michigan State Spartans, 38-0, in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic on New Year’s Eve. Alabama has won the SEC the last two years and has made the both College Football Playoff events since its inception last season.

Should the Crimson Tide defeat the No. 1 Clemson Tigers in the College Football Playoff National Championship on January 11th in Glendale, Arizona, that would give head coach Nick Saban five national championships in his head coaching career, the last four with Alabama.

Alabama has been a college football juggernaut under Saban since 2008, his second year in Tuscaloosa. The Tide under Saban have undoubtedly reached dynasty status. Nobody out-recruits or out-plays Alabama under Saban.

However, given an interesting set of circumstances in the football world, should Alabama beat Clemson on the 11th, may it end up being the last game of the Saban era in Tuscaloosa? Would he pursue possibly a better opportunity in the NFL should one job become available?

Here are five reasons Saban should go back to the NFL should Alabama knock off Clemson in the College Football Playoff National Championship.
