The Pacers and Pistons got a bit testy at the end of their game on Saturday night

The Indiana Pacers needed an enormous fourth quarter from Paul George to come back against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night. When it was all said and done and the final buzzer was sounding, though, it was the Pacers that were on top. However, George and Pistons forward Marcus Morris weren’t planning on letting the action stop there as a bit of a scuffle carried past the buzzer.

With the clock winding down, Morris got the ball and George got up in his face and tapped it away. Reggie Jackson got the ball back and it seemed like there was nothing left to happen. Except that Morris took offense to PG-13’s defense as they were trying to run out the clock and got up in his face. This escalated until there was almost a full-on brawl between the two teams:

Though we don’t see it, I’d guess they didn’t shake hands after this.

These two teams have just a little bit of a history in terms of fighting with one another as they were the two participants in one of the NBA’s most prominent blemishes in history: The Malice in the Palace. This obviously didn’t reach that level and thankfully so. Still, suffice it to say that there still might be a little bad blood between the Pacers and Pistons.
