Warriors superstar point guard Stephen Curry will play against the Nuggets on Saturday after missing two games

The Golden State Warriors have looked uncharacteristically vulnerable over their last two games as they suffered a beatdown at the hands of the Dallas Mavericks on Dec. 30 and then narrowly topped the Houston Rockets on New Year’s Eve. Of course, that was all with reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry on the sideline. That’s something the defending champs won’t have to endure again against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night.

After missing the last two games for the Warriors due to a bruise in his leg, Curry was listed as probable leading up to the game against the Nuggets. Just about an hour before tip-off, it was confirmed that the electric point guard would indeed be playing:

Fans of exciting basketball around the world can rejoice at Curry’s return as he can hopefully pick up right where he left off. Through 30 games this season, the reigning MVP has averaged 30.5 points, 6.4 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game while shooting 51.1 percent from the floor and shooting an absurd 44.6 percent from three on his even more absurd 10.5 three-point attempts per game.

There’s no player in the league that has been qualified as must-see TV every time he’s playing than Curry this season. Let’s hope the minor injury is behind him and that his unreal 2015-16 season only continues.
