Cleveland Browns fire general manager Ray Farmer.

The Cleveland Browns have fired general manager Ray Farmer, once again looking for a savior. The Browns hire and fire more peolpe in the coaching ranks and front office than any other team in the National Football League, showing they have absolutely no idea how to find talent on the field, sideline or booth.

Farmer was told before Cleveland’s game in Week 17 that he was being let go, something that seems like very strange timing. Either way, Farmer had to know this move was coming shortly. Farmer came over form the Kansas City Chiefs and got his first shot at running the show with Cleveland before the 2014 season, one year after being brought in as the assistant general manager.

Farmer will always be remembered as having two first-round picks in the 2014 NFL Draft, and he selected both cornerback Justin Gilbert and quarterback Johnny Manziel. Manziel has been nothing short of a disaster both on and off the field, while Gilbert might prove to be one of the worst picks in NFL history. Farmer will have a very tough time finding another job anytime soon.
