Buffalo Bills kicker took his frustration out on his helmet, but his face paid for it.

Overall, the Buffalo Bills haven’t had a good season and had the opportunity to play spoilers in Week 17 against the New York Jets. Yet, it wasn’t going so well as their kicker missed an extra point attempt. Dan Carpenter took his frustration out on his helmet, but his face paid for it as the projectile ricocheted and hit him square in the face.

Watch out for those helmets. When in motion they can hurt if the face hits them. Next time Carpenter wants to throw his helmet to the ground he will stand way back so it doesn’t come back to smack him straight in the face. The Bills kicker has missed the second-most extra points this season with eight misses currently.

Carpenter should be careful with his helmet in the future. It would be unfortunate for him to miss playing time if he were to pull this in a game that was meaningful. Instead, the Bills season will end as a disappointment no matter what happens. They will miss the playoffs unless Buffalo can win and a lot other things fall in their favor.

Too bad Carpenter’s skill of being able to hit himself with his helmet can’t score the Bills some points on the field.
