Arizona Cardinals 2016 schedule.
The Arizona Cardinals will be in the playoffs, hoping to win the first Super Bowl in franchise history. The Cardinals are 13-3 and looking to take down a pair of opponents, potentially with both of them having to come to University of Phoenix Stadium. Arizona had won nine straight before getting waxed by 30 points in a 36-6 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.
Under head coach Bruce Arians, the Cardinals have won 34 games in three seasons, with this year’s group their best. Arians has brought in a very effective passing game, led by the stylings of Carson Palmer, John Brown, Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd. Arizona also has one of the most aggressive defenses in the National Football League, making them even tougher to play against. So, if we look ahead, here is who has to deal with the Cardinals in 2016:
The Cardinals have a nice divisional slate, getting to face the St. Louis Rams and San Francisco 49ers for a quarter of the schedule. Beyond that, Arizona will have some marquee games when it visits the New England Patriots and hosts the Carolina Panthers. Those games could have major playoff implications, and should both be in primetime.
