Sunday brings a bit of a slow day around the NHL after 12 games took place on Saturday. With just eight total teams playing today you’ll have to get creative in order to build a lineup that doesn’t include all highly-owned players.

The hockey action begins at 5:00 p.m. ET with an intriguing matchup between Dallas and the New York Islanders. Dallas owns the top spot in the NHL and is loaded with several top fantasy options. The Islanders have been a bit of a surprise this season and currently sit in third place in the Eastern Conference. While New York doesn’t have many big names, there are still some good fantasy targets to look at.

Florida will be at home hosting the Wild and will be looking to extend an eight-game point streak. Several Panthers have been playing extremely well lately and can really help fantasy lineups.

You will also want to check out Chicago and Ottawa tonight as you fill out your lineup. The last game of the evening features Winnipeg visiting Anaheim.

All mentions of average fantasy points and salaries come from DraftKings.
