Kansas City Chiefs 2016 schedule.

The Kansas City Chiefs looked destined for a last-place finish in the first six weeks of the regular season. At 1-5 and without the services of superstar running back Jamaal Charles, the Chiefs were dead in the water and seemingly on their way to a top-five pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Instead, they are now headed to the playoffs.

Kansas City faced a brutal schedule early in the year, having to take on the Denver Broncos, Green Bay Packers and Cincinnati Bengals in succession. In fact, five of its first six opponents are in the playoffs. Next year, the schedule does not look nearly as daunting.

If you take a good look, the Chiefs might not lose a game at Arrowhead Stadium. Beyond the divisional games, the Chiefs will be hosting the Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New York Jets. While New York is a solid team, the other four all finished below .500 and don’t project to be much better in 2016. However, the road slate is tough with games against the Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans and Carolina Panthers.

Regardless of your prospective, the Chiefs and their fans have to like this schedule.
