Detroit Lions vs Chicago Bears
The Detroit Lions made the playoffs a season ago in Jim Caldwell’s first season as head coach, but his second season hasn’t been quite as successful. There were high hopes heading into the 2015 season, but the Lions laid an egg, starting the year 0-5. The Lions’ first win, however, was a 37-34 victory over these Chicago Bears at home.

Looking to win their final game of 2015 against the Bears, Matthew Stafford will also likely be playing for his job in the future. Many have been talking about his inability to win in Detroit, but he’s been playing much better under his new offensive coordinator, Jim Bob Cooter.
Chicago might be without Matt Forte in the season finale, but that’s OK seeing as rookie running back Jeremy Langford might be the future for the Bears in the backfield. He will have an opportunity to cap off his first NFL season with a bang and gain some confidence heading into 2016.
Despite all the criticism Jay Cutler has received, he finished the season strong and proved some of his doubters wrong. He won’t have Alshon Jeffery to throw to in the finale, but he will still give the fans a good game to watch even though it’ll be a long offseason until Bears football is back.
