The Miami Dolphins’ 2016 schedule has been set.

The Miami Dolphins schedule for the 2016 has taken form and it’s quite a mixed bag. Aside from the typical AFC East opponents, the Dolphins will face the AFC North and the NFC West.

Looking back at the 2015 season, the Dolphins were one of the most disappointing teams in the entire National Football League. Heading into the season, the Dolphins were an outside shot at upending the New England Patriots in the AFC East. They inked Ryan Tannehill to a monster contract extension, brought in Ndamukong Suh, and were riding some sky-high expectations. As it turns out, the team was nothing more than a paper tiger.

Suh proved to be a rogue and a malcontent, popping off at random times and reportedly big leaguing his teammates by claiming that he called the plays. Following a curb stomping across the pond in London at the hand of the hands of the New York Jets, Miami parted ways with embattled coach Joe Philbin. In stepped Dan Campbell, who appeared to make a difference in his first two games at the helm, and then the bottom once again fell out.

The Dolphins have a lot of holes entering the offseason, and given the slate of games they face it looks as though 2016 could be another uphill climb.
