Here are how the New York Jets can clinch a playoff spot in Week 17 of the NFL season.

The New York Jets, under head coach Todd Bowles have been a blessing to the league this year. With Ryan Fitzpatrick playing at a level well above what anyone could have imagined, the defense performing at an elite level and the double headed monster at wide receiver in Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker, the Jets have been one of the best sides in the league, putting themselves on the brink of the postseason.

With just one game remaining, the Jets sit at 10-5 and the number six seed in the AFC. Just ahead of them is the Kansas City Chiefs, who will hope to wrap up the number five seed and travel to Houston to take on the Texans, and just on their tails is the high flying offense of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The postseason destiny of the Jets is wholly in their hands. Unfortunately, this is the Jets we’re talking about.

Todd Bowles and his Jets must travel to Buffalo to take on the Bills, and in particular, their former head coach, Rex Ryan. In true Rex Ryan fashion, there’s nothing that would please him more than beating the Jets and potentially ending their play off hopes. If New York win, their in. If they lose, they will be hoping the Cleveland Browns can somehow overcome the Steelers. It is a nice position to be in, though an away game to Buffalo is always a tough contest. Just win, New York. Just win.
