Could Doug Marrone be the next Head Coach of the Cleveland Browns?
With the news that Mike Pettine would be out as Cleveland Browns head coach, along with GM Ray Farmer, the Browns again hit the reboot on a franchise that just appears to be constantly stuck in the mud. The Browns appear to be figuring out head coach before the GM (great strategy?) and one of the names that appears to be on their radar is Doug Marrone.
Just said on @SNFonNBC that the first interview for Browns, coming Tuesday will be former Bills coach Doug Marrone.

Marrone was the coach of the Buffalo Bills in 2013-14 where he went 15-17. Marrone decided to opt out of his contract and ended up coaching the offensive line this season as well as being the assistant head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Is Marrone going to be their first interview? Apparently not, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.
#Browns Haslam said it's incorrect that Doug Marrone will be first interview

Pettine was the defensive coordinator under Marrone in Buffalo in 2013. Marrone will not be the only interview this week for the Browns.
Browns arequesting interviews with Teryl Austin, Doug Marrone, Adam Gase and others. Unique structure will be topic of conversation I'm sure

It is already an interesting off-season in Cleveland for the Browns with already so many changes and there should be even more coming.
Could Marrone be a part of that? We should soon find out, maybe even as soon as the coming week.
