Raiders 2016 schedule: Opponents set
Oakland Raiders 2016 schedule.
In 2015, the Oakland Raiders showed that they are no longer going to be a walkover. Oakland has been one of the worst teams over the years, falling to the basement for the better part of the last decade. However, under first-year head coach Jack Del Rio, the Raiders made major strides.
Oakland has a trio of really nice offensive players in quarterback Derek Carr, wide receiver Amari Cooper and running back Latavius Murray, with all of them looking like future Pro Bowlers. The Raiders also have one of the better offensive lines and a nice compliment to Cooper in veteran Michael Crabtree, who was signed to an extension during the season. In 2016, this is who Oakland will be going against…

Oakland will have some opportunity on the road, with an easy slate of games to beat up on. The Raiders could absolutely go on the road to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans, along with the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Raiders will be challenged at home, though, with tough contests against the Carolina Panthers, Indianapolis Colts and Buffalo Bills.
The Raiders still have to improve, especially on the defensive side of the ball, but this is a dangerous team.
