The Oakland Raiders took out all the stop to honor Charles Woodson before he plays his final game.
Charles Woodson’s NFL career ends on Sunday after 18 years in the league and 11 years with the Oakland Raiders. He will go down as one of the best defensive players to play the game. Hours before his final game the Raiders found a creative way to give him one final salute.
The Raiders didn’t just do one graphic with key Woodson stats from his 18 years in the league. Instead, they found an epic and creative way to honor one of the best to wear a Raiders jersey by putting a 12-picutre Instagram collage for all to take in.
It’s a classy and creative way to thank Woodson for his time on his team despite the team not doing so well. Woodson stuck it out and remained loyal to the team through the ups and downs. As a result, the team returned the favor with a very unique way to honor Woodson. If the team is wise, this is only the beginning of parting gifts and this 12-picture collage on Instagram will also be framed for the NFL veteran.
Woodson played for the Raiders from 1998-2005 and returned in 2013 after a seven-year stint with the Green Bay Packers. In both places he was loved and that was shown in the Raiders’ collage on Sunday.
