The New England Patriots look to lock up home-field advantage throughout the playoffs as they close out the 2015-16 regular season down in Miami against the Dolphins.

The Patriots were supposed to take care of business last week against the New York Jets. After being held in check for a majority of the game, the Pats offense got things going late in the fourth and forced overtime. Then a whole lotta drama went down – overtime, kicking, deferring, choosing sides, winning coin flips, porous defense – and Pat Patriot was forced to wait another week to clinch home-field throughout the season. It’s down to lovely Miami to try and put an end to the delay.

As for the Dolphins, well, last week was the best of the season for Miami. Well, the franchise, not this team. The team lost to a lousy Indianapolis Colts squad. However, the Carolina Panthers’ undefeated season went kaput, so Don Shula got to dab happily and the boys from ’72 could pop a little bubbly. It’s the little things.
