Rams 2016 schedule: Opponents set
St. Louis Rams 2016 schedule.
The St. Louis Rams were thought to be one of the wild cards of the 2015 National Football League season. St. Louis had traded for quarterback Nick Foles and drafted superstar running back prospect Todd Gurley in the first round of the NFL Draft. All signs pointed to the Rams finally breaking away from their mediocre past and perhaps making a run in the NFC West.
Instead, St. Louis once again decided to play well below expectations and found itself at 7-9 to end the season. The Rams simply got nothing good out of Foles, who started the season 4-3 and then completely tanked, allowing Case Keenum to wrestle the job away from him. Gurley was tremendous, though, posting an 1,000-yard season after missing the first three games of the regular season while recovering from a torn ACL. If the Rams are going to ever rise up, here is who they will do it against in 2016:

As you can see, the schedule is not going to be easy. Beyond playing a very challenging divisional schedule, the Rams also have to face the New England Patriots and New York Jets on the road. St. Louis certainly has a tough road ahead.
