The Tennessee Titans season is over, but who will they play in 2016?

It was a rough first season for Marcus Mariota with the Tennessee Titans, but there’s a lot to look forward to regardless. A new head coach will be coming to town this offseason and progress will be made to once again make the Titans a force in the AFC South.

That being said, there’s a lot that needs to happened before Tennessee is a contender. Next season might be better, but it all comes down to who the Titans play and who well they matchup against them.

We won’t know when these games will be played until much later on in the year as the NFL schedules haven’t been set yet. We can venture to guess that the Titans won’t be playing many late or primetime games, but the allure of Marcus Mariota might change that.

Then again, the Titans are a few years away from being any good and their 2016 campaign will likely be spent trying to find their footing with Mariota rather than competing for a playoff spot. They might still be worth watching, but at the same time, let’s not hold our breath.
