Tyrod Taylor doesn't care, shimmies through the Jets defense for a ridiculous 18-yard TD. #NYJvsBUF https://t.co/IJhBItTR9m
It was the second rush of the day for Taylor, who now has 18 yards on the ground. He has struggled passing early as he is only 2-of-5 passing for 0 yards in the early going for the Bills.
Despite his early struggles throwing the ball Sunday, Taylor is one of the true dual-threat quarterbacks in the game and he entered Sunday’s game with 517 yards rushing and three touchdowns on the season. The former Baltimore Ravens backup quarterback won the job in a battle with Matt Cassel and E.J. Manuel this preseason and hasn’t disappointed the team, despite the team’s 7-8 record.
The Bills are trying to play spoiler as the Jets are sitting at 10-5 and can lock up a playoff spot with a win, but could see enough happen to miss the playoffs if they do happen to drop this game.
Although they once looked ready to make some noise, the team hit a rough patch. Buffalo getting to 8-8 with a win would give them a huge confidence booster heading into the offseason as they hope to take the next step in 2016.
