The Cleveland Browns team calendar has an ironic sense of humor, asking a trivia question about the coach who was fired the night before Black Monday.

Twitter has a way of going viral, and one Cleveland Browns fan is finding that out on Black Monday after pointing out a sad coincidence on his Cleveland Browns trivia calendar.

Sam Brenner points out the irony in that Mike Pettine’s name pops up the day after he was fired by the Browns, just two seasons after he was named coach of the franchise.

While it could be considered a random question that popped up on an awkward day, an argument could be made that someone with a great sense of humor put the question about coaching moves on Monday, January 4th for a reason. That reason could be that this happens to be the first Monday following the end of the regular season, known as Black Monday.

The day gets that nickname due to the large amount of coaching firings that happen each season. Browns head coach Mike Pettine spent the entire season on the hot seat, and it wouldn’t have taken a rocket scientist to figure out that the probability of Pettine being jobless on this day was pretty high.

In fact, the Browns didn’t even wait till Monday, as they actually fired the coach on Sunday night after he went 10-22 in two seasons.
