Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams is day to day with an ankle sprain, according to a report.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have had to deal with major issues at the running back spot all season. With injuries knocking Le’Veon Bell out of action, it came down to DeAngelo Williams, who was having a resurgent season after signing with the Steelers.
After Williams went down with a leg injury, it appeared to be a big blow to the Steelers’ offense, as Williams provided balance to match the passing attack in Pittsburgh.
The good news is that it appears he might be able to give it a go against the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday night. According to Gerry Dulac, DeAngelo Williams has only an ankle sprain and will be listed as day to day this week.

That’s certainly much better news for the Steelers. They are preparing to take on a division rival in what will be a tough, physical game and will need to grind out the tough yards on the ground against Cincinnati.
They can still air it out with Ben Roethlisberger to Antonio Brown, but being able to pound the football is a must in the playoffs.
It was feared that Williams might be done for the season, but it doesn’t look like he is done just yet.
