High Salary G

Jonathan Quick- LA Kings ($8,200): Quick is having a strong season and putting up great numbers so far. He has compiled a record of 22-9-1 with a 2.10 GAA and a .923 save percentage. The Kings have been paying great hockey as a team and have used the current winning streak to move up to second place in the Western Conference. Quick has been a big reason for LA’s success and enters tonight’s tilt with Colorado riding a five-game winning streak.

Brian Elliott-St. Louis Blues ($7,500): Elliott is set to man the net for St. Louis tonight versus Ottawa. He has fallen off a bit and is the clear backup behind Jake Allen. Elliott has sat out the last three games so he’ll be well-rested to face the Senators, a team that’s shown an ability to score the puck at a good clip this year. Still, Elliott makes for a good start given the talent that’s on his team.

High Value G

Louis Domingue-Arizona Coyotes ($6,200): If you are short on cap space by the time you select a goalie for tonight take a look at Domingue. He’s been the starter in Arizona since Mike Smith has been injured and has posted a season record of 3-2-2. He hasn’t been particularly sharp but can make for a good start in spots. Tonight he’ll go up against a Vancouver team that has struggled for much of the year and is ranked 25th in goals scored per game.

Cam Ward-Carolina Hurricanes ($6,500): Carolina has really struggled this year and so has its top netminder Cam Ward. He has been good in spots but he has just not had the consistency that’s needed to put up great numbers. He has a record of 11-11-3 and has lost two of his last three starts. Still, he makes for an interesting fantasy choice tonight. He sat the bench in both of Carolina’s last two games and will be well-rested should he get the call tonight. The opponent, Edmonton, has also struggled for much of the season and brings the 22nd-ranked offense into the game.
