High Salary C

Marc Gasol-Memphis Grizzlies (8,100): Gasol is in a great matchup tonight against the Blazers who has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing centers this season. Gasol has been carrying a huge workload lately, but he has only played two games in the last week so even though he played over 40 minutes in each fatigue shouldn’t be too much of a factor.  Gasol has at least 16 points in seven of his last eight games and is always a multi-category contributor with rebounds, assists, and blocks.  He has reached the 40-fantasy-point plateau in four of his last ten games, but I think he’s almost sure to reach that number tonight based on his matchup and catching the Blazers on the second night of back-t0-back games while being relatively rested himself. ∗∗

Dwight Howard-Houston Rockets (8,000): With Houston taking on the Jazz without Rudy Gobert, Howard should be able to continue his recent scoring surge in Salt Lake City tonight.  Howard has scored at least 20 points in three straight games while adding 12+ rebounds in each of those contests as well.  He finished with 54.7 fantasy points, 51.1 fantasy points, and 37.4 fantasy points in those three contests, and he’ll look to continue his recent fantasy binge in a favorable matchup against Jeff Withey, Trey Lyles, Trevor Booker, and possible Derrick Favors

Karl-Anthony Towns-Minnesota Timberwolves (7,800): Towns and the T-Wolves take on the 76ers and his fellow-rookie Jahlil Okafor in Philadelphia tonight.  Towns played just 19 minutes in their previous meeting but has averaged 32.8 minutes over his last five games.  In those five games, Towns is averaging 17.8 points and 9.8 rebounds and he has been able to produce at least 37 fantasy points in five of his last eight games.
