On locker clean out day, better known as getaway day, Johnny Manziel was unavailable to speak to the Cleveland media.
It’s been a rocky ride for Johnny Manziel during his time with the Cleveland Browns. He was unavailable to speak to reporters on Monday due to being in meetings.

While it’s not clear who he was meeting with, speculation would center around Manziel meeting with team leadership about his future with the team. At this point it’s no secret that his days in Cleveland are numbered and he wants to play for the Dallas Cowboys next.
Manziel needs to shape up and make better decisions off the field before they really affect his on the field production. He reportedly showed up to the training facility drunk on Saturday and failed to show up for a mandatory meeting with doctors on Sunday.
It appears the Browns are at the end of their patience with Manziel’s antics and immaturity. They have a lot of work to rebuild a depressing football team and having Manziel on the team would only had dead weight to a club that needs to move on from its past and focus on their next rebuilding phase.
The only sad thing about Manziel not being able to speak to reporters is he’d probably say something about his whereabouts that would further the Manziel talk. Instead, he was tied up in meetings that were most likely about him being cut by the Browns as his trade value is probably very low.
