NFL Power Rankings: Playoff blues reign following Week 17
By Staff
It’s time again for the NFL Power Rankings
The 2015 regular season is at an end for all but a dozen teams in the National Football League. It’s been a long, strange trip (stranger than usual) and now we beat it on down the line to second season – the NFL Playoffs.
This year, more-so than perhaps any season in recent memory, was one of parity. There is a fairly clear dividing line at who the cream of the league is, and where all the also-rans are. However, injuries have been a great equalizer. For a while it looked like the New England Patriots and Cincinnati Bengals were the toast of the AFC, but the loss of Andy Dalton and a banged up Tom Brady might shake up the establishment.
As for the NFC, things are a fair bit clearer. The Carolina Panthers are balanced and back to rolling along. And then there’s the two powers out in the West. Both Arizona and Seattle are ridiculously strong, with the Seahawks peaking at the absolute perfect time.
With the playoff race ready to get underway with a bang, here’s a look at the last NFL Power Rankings from the regular season (the Week 17 post mortem, if you will) starting with the lowly Tennessee Titans.
