For the most part, you can pretty safely say that Baltimore Ravens fans just wanted this season to come to an end. Well, the good news is that following their Week 17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, it is indeed over with a record of just 5-11.

Of course, this team was just hit hard by the injury bug this season. Terrell Suggs was lost early for the season to an Achilles injury, veteran wide receiver Steve Smith also suffered an Achilles, and quarterback Joe Flacco suffered a torn ACL in Week 11.

Those are three pretty big pieces of this team to have go down, to be quite honest.

Now, with the nightmare season having come to an end for the Ravens, the focus can turn to the off-season. Of course, there is the possibility that all three of the aforementioned names will be back to lend a hand, especially if Smith opts not to retire, which he indeed might.

They’re also now going to have a nice, high draft pick come this spring, one that they will probably use for the defensive side of the ball, potentially in the secondary with the likes of a Jalen Ramsey or Vernon Hargreaves III.

This was a disappointing season for the Ravens, a team who made the playoffs in 2014. However, if the stars aligned, this organization could be back to contending in 2016.
. (5-11). Previous: . Baltimore Ravens. 27. team. 26
