Former Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Trevor Knight addressed his transfer to the Texas A&M Aggies.
After losing their two five-star quarterbacks, the Texas A&M Aggies finally landed a quarterback on Monday when Trevor Knight announced that he was transferring from the Oklahoma Sooners to Texas A&M.
Knight lost his starting job to Baker Mayfield at Oklahoma this past season, but since he’s a graduated senior, he will have eligibility to play in 2016 for the Aggies.
Knight posted on Twitter a giant thank you message that was sincere and from the heart about his time in Norman.

There are plenty of occasions where a quarterback loses their job and transfers out of a program, but to see the appreciation that Knight had for the Sooners really goes to show the maturity that he has a young quarterback.
His biggest moment was when he led the Sooners to a big win in the Sugar Bowl over the Alabama Crimson Tide. With plenty of experience as a dual-threat quarterback in college, Knight is exactly what the Aggies need after losing Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray, who ironically transferred to Oklahoma from Texas A&M.
He can help right the ship and perhaps in the process, save the future of Kevin Sumlin’s job at Texas A&M. The Aggies were in desperate need of a quarterback and they landed their man.
They also just happened to land a quarterback who is very appreciative for the opportunity he has been given and thankful for the opportunities at Oklahoma that he had been given.
