Gregg Popovich is arguably the best coach in NBA history. With his five NBA Championships, three NBA Coach of the Year awards (which seems like an incredibly low number) and an immense amount of respect from anyone who really follows the game of basketball closely, there really is not much more that Pop can do to make his career better.

So it is not a surprise that when Popovich wins awards such as NBA Coach of the Month, it does not really matter to him.

While this quote instantly shoots to the top of the Pop Quote of the Year rankings (which we here at The Friendly Bounce may need to start tracking), there is a part of me that wonders what Pop would really do with a car if he won one.

Would he send it to Tim Duncan‘s shop to get worked on? Would he get a cappuccino maker installed for when he and Boris Diaw go hang out and taste wines? Would he even actually drive it or just let it sit in the driveway unused? Would a car being awarded for the honor change the way he coaches so that he can win every month?

All of these things are important so the NBA and Kia need to get to work on finding a way to make this happen.
