Nick Young really has a lot of faith in Iggy Azalea’s album that will be dropping this year.
Everyone loves to be loyal to their significant other, even if it means you might have to stretch the truth from time to time, like Los Angeles Lakers star Nick Young probably did recently.
As everyone knows by now, the man affectionately known to the sports world as “Swaggy P” is dating hip-hop star Iggy Azalea, something that neither really keep much of a secret. What we also know is that Azalea is set to drop a new album this year, which has some of her fans pretty pumped — while the haters roll their eyes.
Now, of course, Young is not part of the latter group there, however he does have some pretty high hopes for this album. How high? Well, as he told Billboard recently, it’ll be the best one that we hear this year.
"Aw man, it’s gonna be the best album of 2016. I got my Swaggy P feature on it so that’s why it’s gon’ blow up. [Laughs] I see how hard she be in the studio and I heard a couple songs. Couple surprises and a lot of features on there. It’ll be dope."
Well, I mean … OK. Again, this all goes back to the original point of having to stretch the truth a little bit to keep your other half happy, which he may or may not be what he’s doing here. Then again, who knows, maybe he does believe that this is going to blow us all away in 2016.
But …
