The NHL has announced the rosters for the 2016 NHL All Star Game

The NHL has finalized the preliminary rosters for the 2016 NHL All Star Game that will take place in Nashville on the weekend of January 30th. The skills competition will take place on the 30th while the three-on-three tournament will be on Sunday.

The captains for each division have already been named. Alex Ovechkin, Jaromir Jagr, John Scott, and Patrick Kane will captain their respective divisions. This is just the preliminary roster, meaning that injury replacements could still make the team.

METROPOLITAN DIVISION

Forwards: Alex Ovechkin (Washington Capitals), Nicklas Backstrom (Capitals) Evgeni Malkin (Pittsburgh Penguins), Claude Giroux (Philadelphia Flyers), Brandon Saad (Columbus Blue Jackets), John Tavares (New York Islanders)

Defensemen: Justin Faulk (Carolina Hurricanes), Ryan McDonagh (New York Rangers), Kris Letang (Penguins)

Goalies: Braden Holtby (Capitals), Cory Schneider (New Jersey Devils)

ATLANTIC DIVISION

Forwards: Jaromir Jagr (Florida Panthers), Patrice Bergeron (Boston Bruins), Dylan Larkin (Detroit Red Wings), Ryan O’Reilly (Buffalo Sabres), Leo Komarov (Toronto Maple Leafs), Steven Stamkos (Tampa Bay Lightning)

Defensemen: Erik Karlsson (Ottawa Senators), P.K. Subban (Montreal Canadiens), Aaron Ekblad (Panthers)

Goalies: Roberto Luongo (Panthers), Ben Bishop (Lightning)

CENTRAL DIVISION
