The best sleepers at each position for DraftKings daily fantasy basketball on Wednesday, Jan. 6

The NBA will pick back up with a heavy slate of games on Wednesday night as it almost always does for the mid-week schedule. After there were only four games on the docket on Tuesday night, that number increases to 11 games on Wednesday night. With 22 teams in action, daily fantasy basketball players will have a more than ample opportunity to find sleepers and win some money by inserting them into their DraftKings lineups.

The abundance of potential sleepers on a night in the NBA when there are 11 games on the schedule stands in stark contrast to a night like Tuesday where the high quality sleepers were few and far between. Even still, there were a handful of players throughout the league who emerged as definite and valuable sleepers on Tuesday night with only eight teams taking the floor.

With Rajon Rondo out, Sacramento Kings point guard Darren Collison and reserve guard Marco Belinelli both enjoyed fantastic fantasy outings as they went for 41 and 37.75 fantasy points in DraftKings scoring, respective. Guys like Arron Afflalo and JaVale McGee both came up big as well as they both went for over 36 fantasy points on the night.

That being said, the sleepers will be much more frequent on Wednesday night with so many more teams in action around the NBA. There are a number of intriguing matchups in terms of how they will affect the fantasy value of certain players in addition to a handful of injuries creating real opportunities for players to have nights that far exceed their valuation and their normal output as a fantasy option.
