The best sleepers at each position for FanDuel daily fantasy basketball on Wednesday, Jan. 6

The NBA picks back up in a big way on Wednesday night after it took its usual Tuesday lull. Though there were only four games on the schedule on Tuesday, the action is back in full swing on Wednesday evening as there are 11 games on the docket and 22 of the league’s 30 teams in action. That’s over two-thirds of the league’s teams in action and as many players for daily fantasy basketball players to comprise their FanDuel lineups with.

With the four-game slate taking over the league yesterday, the sleeper picks really swung leagues all over the board, even if the players who emerged as sleepers weren’t in abundance. A pair of Sacramento Kings in Darren Collison and Marco Bellinelli came up in a big way to each go over 35 fantasy points in FanDuel scoring on Tuesday night in the double-overtime loss to the Dallas Mavericks. Meanwhile, New York Knicks guard Arron Afflalo had himself a big night and Chicago Bulls big man Taj Gibson enjoyed a solid double-double effort that resulted in a great fantasy output on FanDuel.

As is always the case, though, the spike in the number of games will increase the importance of identifying the right sleepers throughout the NBA on a night like Wednesday. There are going to be more players who far exceed their valuation on FanDuel, but they key is selecting the best players at the best value so that DFS players can have the sleeper that not many other players could find and that could win players their leagues or tournaments.
