Beyonce to join Coldplay for Super Bowl 50 halftime show

The Super Bowl halftime show just got kicked up another notch with the addition of Beyonce. 

As the NFL Playoffs set to get underway this coming weekend, all eyes are now on the road to Super Bowl 50, which should be an event of absolutely extravagant proportions. Of course, this means that the Super Bowl halftime show, which will be headlined by Coldplay, will have to be more memorable than ever.

Well now there’s really no question that it will be, because Beyonce is officially crashing the party.

In news that was dropped on Thursday by ET Online, Beyonce will indeed be joining Coldplay on stage for the festivities during the break of the big game, something that was rumored to happen a few months ago. But now fans can rejoice because it is a pairing that will be taking place on the big stage.

According to the report, Beyonce’s appearance will include them singing “Hymn for the Weekend,” which is featured on Coldplay’s seventh album. She might only be up there for one song, but everyone knows by now that an appearance by Beyonce in any fashion during an event such as this is a moment that you will not want to miss.

Super Bowl 50 will take place on Sunday, February 7 from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
