Boston Celtics vs Chicago Bulls

The Boston Celtics have been consistently average over the past 10, or so, games as they’ve traded wins and losses. After winning four straight games a little over a week ago, the Celtics have lost three of four games following a defeat at the hands of the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night. Still, though, the Celtics are one of the most improved teams in the Eastern Conference.

Isaiah Thomas has been impressive this season, leading the Celtics in scoring, averaging about 20.9 points per game as well as 6.8 assists. Avery Bradley and Jae Crowder are the only two other players who average above 10 points per game for Boston. Brad Stevens has done a great job for this franchise.

This is a good chance for the Chicago Bulls to prove that they truly are one of the best teams in the NBA this season. Jimmy Butler has been a star for this team and he’s almost taken over the role of Derrick Rose, but isn’t quite as good as the veteran point guard was in his healthy days.

Butler is averaging 22.8 points while Rose is still trying to get his groove back, averaging 14.4 points and 5.1 assists per game. Pau Gasol has also been All-Star worthy, averaging 16.7 points and 10.7 rebounds per game. If the Bulls win, that will put them one step closer to the first place position in the Eastern Conference.
