With Ezequiel Lavezzi’s Paris St-Germain contract set to expire at the end of the season, teams have already begun to lineup for his services.

Thanks to former Belgian midfielder, Marc Bosmnan, when a soccer player’s contract with a club runs out, he is free to sign for any club that he’d like. That will soon be the case for Argentine international Ezequiel Lavezzi as his contract with Paris St-Germain is set to expire at the end of the current campaign.

It has long been believed that the 30-year-old would not renew with PSG, and on Wednesday reports about his future continued to circulate across Europe. While his agent has come out on several occasions to suggest that Lavezzi would prefer a move back to Italy, Premium Sport is reporting that the player’s agent will meet with Chelsea next Thursday.

According to the aforementioned report, the Blues would like Lavezzi to arrive to Stamford Bridge immediately. Both Inter and Juventus are also said to be interested in signing the Argentine, but they would prefer to wait until the summer when he is available for free.

Lavezzi made the move to PSG from Napoli, after the French giants paid a reported €26.5 to the Southern Italians. He spent five seasons in the Italian top flight, helping lead Napoli to a Coppa Italia triumph in his final season with the club, 2012.

Along with an impressive club career, Lavezzi has also been a regular for his country. He won a Gold Medal with Argentina in the 2008 Olympics, and was a member of both the 2014 World Cup and 2015 Copa America squads that lost in the finals.
