NFL FanDuel Picks For Playoffs Week 1

We here at Fantasy CPR will work very hard and do everything that we can to bring you articles to prepare you and help you be successful with your bids and games at FanDuel and DraftKings just as we have with MLB and NBA. I always recommend that you do plenty of homework on your own as well as reading our articles. You will also want to make sure that you have access to your FanDuel lineup prior to kickoff in case a player is a last-minute inactive players.

Here are my NFL FanDuel Picks for the playoffs:

Next: Quarterback and Running Backs

Quarterback:

QB – Russell Wilson – Wilson has really been about the hottest player in the NFL lately as far as quarterbacks go. There are some other decent options, but none of them I trust to carry a team for this weekend. I think that Wilson should have a good week.

RB – Jeremy Hill – Once again there were not very many options that I trust to carry the load for me this weekend. I am also not entirely happy about starting a RB against the Steelers run defense as it has been pretty solid. With Andy Dalton looking like he should sit out the Bengals will have to rely on Hill and the running game if they are to succeed.

RB – Alfred Morris – Morris has not been anywhere near the guy that most of us expected that he would. However, with Matt Jones injured it is looking like he should be the guy for the Redskins this weekend and I expect a pretty solid day out of him. Last week he tallied 100 yards on the ground and he should be able to have another good week this week.

Next: Wide Receivers

Wide Receivers:

WR – Antonio Brown – Brown is always a good play and is easily the best WR that is available to us. The Steelers are always looking to target him heavily and being in a do or die environment of the playoffs that should not change. I also like Brown to see a few more targets with the likelihood of DeAngelo Williams will not play.

WR – Randall Cobb – Cobb has been largely a hit or miss kind of player for the Packers this season. He has had some decent games lately, but none that are what you want to write home about. This should keep ownership low on Cobb and I think it is time that he busts out with a big game.

WR – DeSean Jackson – Jackson is another guy that he been up and down as of late. There are not a lot of guys that got me real excited, but this is what we expect when it comes to playing FanDuel in the NFL playoffs.

Next: Tight End, Kicker, and Defense

Tight End:

TE – Travis Kelce – Kelce is a nicely priced option who has the upside to carry us to the money. The Chiefs have been playing well and could easily look to Kelce as a target to keep the chains moving. Give Kelce a look as a low owned guy who could post huge numbers.

K – Chris Boswell – Boswell has been one of my favorite kicker plays in fantasy football lately. In this game I would expect that special teams and field goals will play a pretty big role and hopefully Boswell will kick a bunch of them.

DEF – Kansas City Chiefs – The Chiefs defense has been one of the main reason for their turn around this season. They have played very well and have been one of the top scoring fantasy defenses in the second half of the season. I will ride them as long as they keep producing and expect them to do well.

Next: ESPN Captial One Bowl Mania

Good luck to you guys as FanDuel games during the playoffs have proven to be quite difficult, but I believe with some luck, skill and preparation you can find yourself in the money.
