Trying to figure out exactly what type of play defines Dwyane Wade thirteen years into his NBA career is a tough task, but it is safe to say that when his career is over he will have a long video of just his post play. Thanks to his great athleticism and size, Wade has always been a great post-up guard despite never being considered a knock down shooter.
On Friday night, Wade took advantage of that reputation to put poor Brandon Knight in the spin cycle before finishing with a powerful two-handed dunk.

Knight really seemed surprised by Wade making the quick move back into the paint instead of just backing him down. As soon as he leaned too far towards the baseline Wade was ready, unleashing an incredibly quick and tight spin that would make any defender look foolish. Most impressively, Wade’s 33-year-old knees found a way to get him to the rim after such a quick move, which isn’t something that should be taken for granted after all they have been through.
It remains to be seen how much longer Wade has left after the beating his body has taken throughout the years, but as long as he can keep doing things like this every few nights it is hard to see him falling from the ranks of the elite players any time he steps on the court.
