Gerald Green made rising up to finish a Dwyane Wade alley-oop for the Heat look too easy

The Miami Heat were taking on the Phoenix Suns on Friday night and, coming into the game, the dominant storyline was Heat point guard Goran Dragic again returning to play a Suns team that he has plenty of ill feelings towards. However, reserve guard Gerald Green and star Dwayane Wade were more than willing to help Dragic out and punishing Phoenix.

Wade and Green got out on a fast break with the ball in Wade’s hands midway through the second quarter. Wade streaked down the right side of the floor and, when he got the one Suns defender to bite on his dribble, he put up a high lob that Green went and grabbed before slamming it home:

That just seems like it was entirely too easy for Green to rise up that high and stay in the air that long before dunking that lob. As he often does when he attacks the rim, Green is doing things that don’t look real.

However pretty that dunk was, though, the Heat still found themselves in a battle in the first half with the struggling Suns. That’s sort of been the story for the Heat all year, though—even with beautiful plays like this, they still haven’t been able to fully put it together.
