Justin Bieber is apparently a Los Angeles Clippers fan now because he’s campaigning to get point guard Chris Paul to the 2016 NBA All-Star Game

Justin Bieber is notorious for jumping from one sports bandwagon to the next at a pace that rivals Drake. Bieber has joined the Los Angeles Clippers bandwagon recently as the Toronto native is actively campaigning to try to get Clippers point guard Chris Paul into the 2016 NBA All-Star Game. The game will be held in Toronto this year and it’s quite likely that Bieber will be involved in it, whether it’s as a spectator or in more of an entertainment role.

Chris Paul is certainly a deserving All-Star, but it will be quite difficult for him to get one of the guaranteed starting guard spots at this point. He trails Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry (first place) and Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook (second place). Paul is over 200,000 votes shy of Westbrook.

Paul has been an integral part of the Clippers offense and defense this season. He is averaging 17.7 points per game this season. His 9.5 assists per game ranks third in the NBA. He also 3.5 rebounds per game. He also has 1.9 steals per game, which is ninth in the league this season.

It’s quite likely that Justin Bieber’s campaign will work because Paul is one of the NBA’s top stars. It will be hard for the league to not have Paul involved in the All-Star game considering that he’s one of their most marketable players.
