LeBron James throws down nasty windmill, raises roof (Video)
LeBron James slammed home a gorgeous windmill dunk, then raised the roof on the Timberwolves
The Cleveland Cavaliers fell behind to the Minnesota Timberwolves early in the first quarter, but the defending Eastern Conference champs and current leaders in the East wouldn’t be behind for long. After some sweet outside shooting gave the Cavs the lead, LeBron James decided to put an exclamation point on the mini comeback and do so with flair.
LeBron got loose on a fast break and took off ahead of the Timberwolves jogging defense. In the open court, LeBron had all the time in the world and made the most of it as he took that time to throw down a nasty windmill dunk. Then, because it’s good to be the King, he raised the roof of the Target Center to celebrate his beautiful one-handed flush:
If you’re thinking that dunk looked easy, that has very much to do with LeBron still being an absolute physical freak and much less to do with that being an easy dunk to pull off. That’s far from an everyday type of windmill that’s only made better by the methodic raising of the roof.
Because of the things that Stephen Curry has been doing out in the Western Conference, how wonderfully LeBron has been playing this year has been overshadowed to a certain degree. However, with dunks like this and the run that the Cavs could go on as Kyrie Irving gets back to full health, James and company can only be kept down for so long.
