Arnold Schwarzenegger offered some endearing words to J.J. Watt

No, the Governor didn’t watch a different game. After the Houston Texans got blanked 30-0 by the Kansas City Chiefs at home in the first game of the playoffs, Arnold Schwarzenegger had some endearing words for Houston and J.J. Watt. He took to Twitter to offer some words of encouragement before he concluded with a signature sign off.

In case you couldn’t hear it through his thick accent, this is what Schwarzenegger said:

"Hey J.J. [Watt]. You and the Texans are fantastic. Just remember one thing: you didn’t lose today, and I’ll tell you why. Because losers stay down. And I know you and the Texans, you always get up. That’s why you’re winners, and you always will be winners. So get going again, get up, put some fire into this team, and march forward. Hasta la vista, baby."

It’s a very kind message, and the Texans’ loss certainly can’t be blamed on Watt. However, it’s unlikely to repair what the Texans fans had to sit through as the Chiefs ran roughshod over the Texans and Hoyer’s performance will live on in infamy. As a speech though, it was nice, but not quite as good as Al Pacino’s speech in Any Given Sunday.
