Houston Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer fumbled the football during the act of throwing without being touched.

Houston Texans quarterback Brian Hoyer had a terrible start to the AFC Wild Card Round Game against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs pressured Hoyer early and he committed two big turnovers.

After an early interception against the Chiefs, Hoyer led the Texans right back down the field against the Chiefs with some big passes to wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

As the Texans rolled into Chiefs territory, Hoyer made another big mistake and fumbled the ball during the act of throwing. He wasn’t even touched and the ball just slipped right out his hand.

It’s little plays like that have plagued the Texans on offense all season. There is no room for error in the playoffs and these are the types of mistakes that lead to a team to being eliminated.

The Texans came into the game with everyone picking against them, and it’s these types of plays the reinforce peoples beliefs about a bad AFC South.

It’s one thing to be hit and fumble the ball, but to let it slip out of the hand in the act of throwing is just terrible.
