PF—Cody Zeller ($5,400)
As a team, the Charlotte Hornets have been struggling in a big way as of late. That has largely been due to injuries as Nicolas Batum has missed time recently and star center Al Jefferson has been injured on an off for most of the season. However, it’s the injury to Big Al that has really opened the way for Hornets frontcourt players to carve out larger roles for themselves and is the reason that Cody Zeller is a viable sleeper option.
Zeller has been producing quite well as of late for the Hornets as he’s been filling a larger role in the frontcourt rotation. The talented young big man has gone for 25.5 fantasy points or more in DraftKings scoring in five of his last six outings. Moreover, Zeller has been at 31 fantasy points or more in three of his last six games. Even better for Zeller’s case as a DFS sleeper on Saturday is the fact that the big man has done well against the Clippers recently.
In his last game against LAC, Zeller went for 31 fantasy points as he racked up 12 points, eight rebounds, and three steals as well as a few other secondary stats. With Griffin out of the Los Angeles frontcourt, the Clippers don’t have anyone that can match the size and athleticism of Zeller at the power forward position. Subsequently, he’s a great sleeper on Saturday.
