The Champs are back in action tonight as part of the five games in tonight’s main FanDuel competition.  There are a couple of afternoon games as well, but for my FanDuel daily picks today we’ll focus on the ten teams taking the floor tonight which set us up for a great Saturday night of fantasy basketball.

The first game of the night tips off at 7:00 PM ET once again, so it’s a typical roster-lock time on FanDuel.  The Wizards are in action in the early game for the second day in a row as they travel to Orlando to face the Magic who are also on a back-to-back.  The Magic beat the Nets last night in Brooklyn, and today Brooklyn heads to The Palace of Auburn Hills to face the Pistons at 7:30 at the same time the Raptors visit Philadelphia and take on the 4-34, woeful 76ers.  At 9:00, the Heat continue their trip west as they play the Jazz in Utah after beating Phoenix last night. The Warriors are playing the final game of the day as they travel to Sacramento and face the Kings for the fourth time this season.

With those 10 teams to pick from, there are plenty of options to analyze. I’ve assembled some of my favorite plays of the day on the following slides for my FanDuel daily picks. There is a slide for high-salary options and a slide for high-value options at each position, and on each slide you’ll find at least two players with a few extras thrown in wherever possible. I base my picks on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game. This year, I also have started to rank my picks using stars after each selection. For a full explanation of the rating system check out the last slide of this post, but in short the more stars that are after a player the more confidence I have in the pick. Starting tomorrow the final slide will include the results of my picks at each level of confidence.  Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for tonight’s contests.
