Brian Hoyer was at his worst with four first-half turnovers. Here they all are in glorious fashion.

The Houston Texans‘ quarterback situation has been a dumpster fire all season. They started with Brian Hoyer and then had a variety of other quarterbacks after Hoyer suffered a couple of concussions.

Hoyer was back for the Texans AFC Wild Card Round Game against the Kansas City Chiefs and really kept that dumpster fire burning with four big first-half turnovers.

Hoyer started his terrible first half with an interception to Eric Berry, who was making an emotional return to the postseason after defeating cancer.

He then followed that one up by fumbling the ball without ever being touched. The football slipped out of Hoyer’s hands somehow as he went back to throw. This play alone really showed what type of day that Hoyer was having at quarterback.

Then when the Texans had a great chance to put points up on the board, Hoyer threw an interception right to Josh Mauga and ended the best chance that the Texans had at scoring in the first half. Suddenly, it looked like all hope was lost in Houston.

If Hoyer’s first half wasn’t bad enough already, he threw one up deep in desperation and was picked off by the sensational rookie Marcus Peters. Hoyer was greeted with boos as he ran off the field back to the sidelines.

With four first-half turnovers by Hoyer and the Texans playing an absolutely terrible game on offense, the team was greeted with a loud chorus of boos as they ran off the field.

Hoyer is having one of the worst playoff performances of all time and that was all just in one single half of football.
