Kansas City Chiefs running back Knile Davis got the playoffs started with a 106-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
The Kansas City Chiefs wasted no time getting on the board against the Houston Texas to begin the playoffs.
On the opening kickoff, running back Knile Davis got plenty of blocking on the kickoff return and took the ball an incredible 106-yards to the house for a touchdown.
No one ever even came close to touching Davis or was in sight of him.

The run is also the second longest in playoff history.

2nd-longest in postseason (Jacoby Jones, 108, SB XLVII)
2nd Chiefs playoff KO rtn TD (Dante Hall vs Colts in 2004)
The Chiefs are on a mission to end a very long playoff drought and this is certainly the way to do it.
His teammates gave him the lane to run and he took advantage of it and then some. The Chiefs haven’t won a playoff game since they beat the Houston Oilers in 1994. There’s just something about the Chiefs in Houston.
Not only was the kickoff return a big one for Davis, but it was also the first postseason kick return touchdown since Percy Harvin returned one for the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII.

The NFL Playoffs are all about momentum and trying to knock out the opponent early in the game. With a return like that, Davis delivered a huge blow early.
