After Arsenal’s FA Cup win, Theo Walcott pulls a kid out of the crowd, celebrates with him and gives him his shirt.

Theo Walcott is more than a lightning fast winger. He scores goals, assists others and also is a pretty nice guy. This is none more evident than in Saturday’s victory over Sunderland.

In the third round of the FA Cup, a competition that Arsenal are hoping to win for the third consecutive season, Theo Walcott was instrumental in Arsenal’s 3-1 victory over fellow Premier League club Sunderland. He set up Joel Campbell for the crucial first half equalizer and ran DeAndre Yedlin ragged down the left flank.

All of this success could lead him to be a selfish sports star like many others, however, he clearly appreciates the support of the fans with this kind act. After the win, he wandered over to the stands, found a young kid and ushered him out onto the field, celebrated with him in a Cam Newton-esque back bump and then gave him his shirt.

This is a quality move by Theo, a guy who is already loved by the fans. He has struggled with injuries this season, though after returning in the last month, is beginning to return to top form. He will be vital for the Gunners’ title challenge come May, and keeping him fit and on top form will be a priority for Arsene Wenger.

While Wenger will be concerned with keeping Theo on the field, off it, Walcott is endearing himself to the fans and the general public with such a classy move.
