Cleveland leads the Eastern Conference as the only team with less than 10 losses this year, posting a 25-9 record through 34 games — the third-best mark in the NBA. A big reason for the success of the Cavs has been the play of LeBron James who’s averaging 25.5 points, 7.4 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game.

The absence of Kyrie Irving has been waning on the team a bit, but now that he’s back, Cleveland’s success should continue, maybe even escalate. In the eight games since his return, the young point guard is averaging 16.9 points and 3.8 assists per game.

On the other hand, the 76ers have been the laughing stock of the NBA and might go down as one of the worst teams to ever take the court throughout the entirety of a season. At just 4-35 and seven games out of 14th place in the Eastern Conference, Philadelphia is being called out for lackluster play by just about everyone.

Stud rookie big man, and last year’s NCAA champion with Duke, Jahlil Okafor has been the team’s top player, averaging 17.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. He has a bright future, but he will need Nerlens Noel, Joel Embiid (eventually) and other young stars to help him out for the future. Don’t worry, another lottery pick is on the way.
