team. 57.
It’s hard to figure out how the Bears will hold up in 2016. With Adam Gase gone and in Miami, Jay Cutler will have yet another new offensive coordinator to work with — his third in as many years. While we always lambast teams for changing coordinators with young quarterbacks trying to fix their game, we can’t overlook how critical this will be for a veteran in Cutler trying to do the same thing.

He’s one of the highest paid quarterbacks in the NFL but he has won absolutely nothing in his career. Cutler is more known for going full Cutler and losing games than he is for being a guy you have any sort of confidence in while he’s under center. Take 2015, for example, as Cutler was godawful compared to the rest of the league but turned in a season that was so improved that his offensive coordinator got a head coaching job because of it.

Game getting the Dolphins job is residually due to his days in Denver, but he did manage to improve the Bears offense in his one season there. The question is how much will that success stick and evolve rather than fall apart in true Bears fashion? A lot of that depends on Cutler, but 2015 was hardly a banner year that any fans will hang their hats on.
. (6-10). Previous: . chicago bears. 26
